Rehearsal and Audition Space

Our room for hire is particularly suitable for rehearsals for small casts, for theatre auditions, media castings and some photography. We welcome bookings and enquiries from performance, theatre and media groups. The size of the room is 5.5m × 5.25m (18' x 17'), and rents for £75 a day.

For rehearsals, you might want to know… We have a kitchen for your use with kettle, free tea & coffee, fridge, microwave There is a smoking area directly adjacent to the rehearsal room We have a cupboard for overnight prop storage (limited facilities) The room is well lit with track lighting (not fluorescent)

For castings, you might want to know…
We have a waiting area in the bookshop
Our staff are friendly and can act as backup for the casting secretary

In terms of location, you might want to know… We are two minutes from: Covent Garden, Joe Allen’s Restaurant, the Lyceum Theatre, The Theatre Royal Drury Lane, the Duchess Theatre, the Aldwych Theatre, The Novello Theatre, the Royal Opera House, & Fox’s Professional Makeup We are five minutes from: the Actors’ Centre, Equity, Shaftesbury Avenue, Charing Cross, Waterloo & Holborn

We share a premises with the legendary theatre bookseller Offstage Books, who have recently relocated from Camden Town, their former home of almost thirty years. Now theatre scripts, magazines, journals (and, of course, books) are available for people in the performance-related professions.

We can accommodate you on evenings and weekends… • Daytime Mon–Fri (10am–5.30pm)  £75+VAT • Daytime Sat–Sun (10am–5.30pm)  £85+VAT • Evening Mon–Sun (6–10pm)  £40+VAT

Payment is required in advance. VAT is 17.5%.
