‘Everything I Knew About Wicca Was Wrong’

Lecture – Paula and Frank Pierce

Some years ago a young couple, both London professionals, got initiated into a coven as neo-Pagan witches. They thought they knew what Wicca was all about, being well-read people with long study in Western esotericism. But the tradition they found in practice, still bounded in secrecy, was a revelation: it was powerfully different from what the beginner Wicca books had described.  Paula and Frank, now in their late thirties, talk about what they found. They analyse initiatory Wicca, focussing on the old Gardnerian strand of the Craft they joined, using the tools of  their respective professions in anthropology, philosophy and clinical psychology.  Join us for an evening of surprises.  Drinks party with the speakers follows the talk, with opportunities to ask more questions informally.

Price: £9 Book online
