About The Event
This series is a continuation of Hannah’s deep delve into the tools necessary for the work of witchcraft. Across times and traditions, these tools have proven to be central to the making of magic. A Measure of Cord. Cingulum for measures, cords for knot spells and bindings, the use of simple rope, cord or string is essential to witch’s charming and spell work and a keeper of memory and oaths.
Hannah Sanders has a doctorate in anthropology and is a longstanding practitioner of folk and herb magic. She was the last apprentice of writer and tarot reader Joyce Collin-Smith, and she is the granddaughter of a well-known Irish fortune teller. Professionally, she is a traditional folk singer.
