About The Event
The personal grimoire or black book is a treasury of magic and the culmination of an occult practitioner's work.
In this class, attendees learn about the history and folklore behind this most personal of tools, and how to begin making their own. Often referred to as a book of shadows (BoS) by modern witches, the grimoire is typically handwritten and seen as a work of magic in and of itself. By the end of the class, everyone will have an understanding of how to create their own version of this special record and use it – for both practical purposes and as a legacy of a magical life.
The 'Witch's Tools' class series is a deep dive into several tools that, across time and tradition, have proven central to the making of magic.
