About The Event

This series is a continuation of Hannah’s deep delve into the tools necessary for the work of witchcraft. Across times and traditions, these tools have proven to be central to the making of magic. The Grimoire. The black book, witch’s book or book of shadows (BoS) as it is often called today, is the culmination of a witch’s work. A treasury of magic and a keeper of record this book, kept in the witch’s “hand of write” is a work of magic in itself. Here we will learn how to make your own, use it, and ensure it acts as a legacy of your magical life.

Hannah Sanders has a doctorate in anthropology and is a longstanding practitioner of folk and herb magic. She was the last apprentice of writer and tarot reader Joyce Collin-Smith, and she is the granddaughter of a well-known Irish fortune teller. Professionally, she is a traditional folk singer.
