The concept of the four humours originates in ancient Greece, and was woven into the elemental workings of physicians, magicians and alchemists down the millennia. The notion faded from mainstream science with the rise of modern medicine, but survived underground in the practices of occultists and witches. In this talk, Rebecca unpacks the idea of the phlegm, the humour associated with the element of Water, and explores its mysteries, symbols and powers, before giving guidance on how they can be evoked and coaxed into working in one's favour today.
