Intermediate Tarot (Essential Spreads) – Online Course

In this all-new, interactive and rigorous 4-week dive, one of our generation’s most gifted teachers helps more experienced tarot readers to accelerate their ability.

Drawing from his decades in the art, Adrien begins by giving participants an effective method for forming powerful questions. He then teaches several spreads, beginning with one card and progressively adding more. Finally, he delves into an astrological spread, followed by the famous Celtic Cross. There’s plenty of opportunity to practise throughout, so by the final session, everyone can perform readings for a range of scenarios.

How to do a ‘Cascade’ spread, starting with 1 card, and adding more

Week 3 – Sat 29 June

How to do a 12-card astrological spread

How to do a Celtic Cross spread

Once meanings have been memorised, the most challenging part of reading tarot is linking the cards together. In this course, Adrien not only guides students to form questions that yield rich results but teaches the all-important skill of interpreting cards differently depending on their position. The range of layouts he covers, as well as providing variety, teaches students to read the tarot dynamically and holistically, as a ‘complete sentence’. In addition, all have the chance to be coached live each week on their reading technique, further solidifying their understanding.

Note: This is not a beginner’s course – basic tarot card knowledge is a must.

Please bring a Rider-Waite Smith style tarot or Marseille deck to each online session. (For questions about decks, email onlineshop@treadwells-london.com.) You will also need a flat space to lay out the cards. All classes are recorded, and able to be viewed by students throughout.

Adrien Mastrosimone has over 20 years’ experience in the art of tarot. He started reading the cards in his teens and went on to study under several tarot masters. Alongside his specialism in the Rider-Waite-Smith deck, he is an acknowledged expert in the traditional Marseille system. Fun, insightful, and deeply knowledgeable, he is an experienced teacher who former students describe as a ‘breath of fresh air’.
