Born out of the 1970s magical revival, chaos magic is today one of the most influential forms of occult practice.
In this online talk, occultist Julian Vayne explores the history of chaos magic from its roots to its impact on modern occultism and digital subspheres. With his signature blend of insight and irreverence, Julian examines the ways in which it challenged tradition, embraced experimentation and reshaped the magical landscape. Expect a dive deep into a movement where belief is a tool and reality is up for grabs.
Julian Vayne is an occultist with over 40 years' experience. He is a regular contributor to 'This is Chaos', edited by Peter J. Carroll, a regular speaker at events and facilitator of retreats and workshops. He is a co-organiser of the psychedelic conference Breaking Convention, a founding member of the post-prohibition think-tank Transform, and sits on the academic board of The Journal of Psychedelic Studies.…
