About The Event
In the witches' wheel of the year, Lammas is an important holiday, the first of the three harvest festivals and representative of the agricultural cutting of the corn and harvest home. It is dedicated to celebration and great magic. Tonight explores the way witches see this time, and how they mark it.
Dr Rebecca Beattie has spent more than twenty years studying and practicing witchcraft and Wicca, and has a deep understanding of the traditions underpinning the practices.
