Clavis Inferni is a unique grimoire in the Solomonic tradition, attributed to Saint Cyprian of Antioch, and written originally in Latin, Greek, Hebrew and three magical scripts.
This text gives instructions for summoning and use of the four archangels and the four demon kings. This elegant edition by David Rankine and Stephen Skinner gives an English translation and reproduces the 18th-century paintings of the four demon kings in their bestial and 'human' form, along with the seals and the holy vinculum for constraining the spirits. The editors include annotations and an introduction explaining its place in the history of grimoires.
