Inhaling the  sweet, quickening, spicy scent of smouldering dragonsblood is a transportingly wonderful experience. Think of dates,  cinnamon, white pepper, dragons and fire spirits.

Like all gums/resins, dragonsblood is burned loose on charcoals, a very tiny pinch at a time (see how-to video).  Magicians today often say it has the effect of 'speeding up' the effect of spells. It can be burned on its own, but most it is added to an incense blend, accompanying  the resin, herbs, oils and woods. It is somewhat expensive due to rarity, as the Socotra tree grows only in one region of the world, but a little bit goes a long way.

30 ml jar.
