The heavenly, sublime scent of damar (pronounced 'DAMmawr') is  popular among loose incense lovers. Think of ancient temples, candle-lit devotions, and mystical experiences.

Like all gums/resins, damar is burned loose on charcoals, a pinch at a time (see how-to video).  Also like most gums / resins, it is not attributed with a particular magical property. It can be burned on its own and smells wonderful.  If it is used in a magical incense recipe, it provides a base for the herbs, oils and woods which are added to it.

30 ml jar.
