In this short book, Phil Hine looks at how tantric traditions viewed the chakras. He covers the tantric idea of the body, the tattvas, kundalini, mantras and chakra deities. All this gives clear, understandable yet rounded path to understanding what the chakras were, and weren't, in India. He also describes exercises and practices of working with them, from this older approach. This the first in Hine's series of chapbooks; the materias is expanded from his 2018-19 lectures at Treadwell's. Signed by the author.
