This large, striking woodcut image has captured the imagination of lovers of Austin Osman Spare, whose work this echoes, though clearly brilliant and original. Its creator, Francesco Parisi (b. 1972) is a well-known Italian woodcut artist who lives in Rome, and teaches at the University of Fine Arts and at the Fine Arts Academy. Parisi is also Professor of engravings at the Fine Arts Academy of Foggia. His work came to the attention of the British occult community through the Fulgur I:MAGE exhibitions from several years ago. Treadwell's has had the print mounted and framed by Russell and Chapple fine framers, so it is ready to hang.
