This book is one of the most popular books ever written on the subject, and for good reason: it is accessibly written, and includes a succinct and lucid exposition of Austin Osman Spare's method, with explanations of his concepts of Avatistic Nostalgia and the Alphabet of Desire. The book also deals with traditional planetary kameas and squares, and how to incorporate them into one's sigils.
