The classic introduction to the Qabalah of the Western esoteric tradition.

One of the first modern texts on the Qabalah to espouse its relationship with the Western esoteric tradition, Q.B.L. is hailed as a classic textbook on the subject that was nonetheless controversial in its day. Its author Charles Stansfield Jones – or Frater Achad – was one of Aleister Crowley's most beloved students, and almost designated the spiritual heir to the Great Beast himself. The publication of this book and its interpretation of the magical uses of the Qabalah, however, proved difficult for Crowley to accept and caused a rift between master and student that never healed. The insights into the Qabalah and spiritual principles expounded here remain as relevant to the modern occultist as ever, and anyone pursuing a path within the Western esoteric current may find this book invaluable to their practice.
