Crone is the third of a three-part witchcraft publication, Sabat, which hit the ground running and became an instant sensation, a young, feminist, and creative celebration of a new generation of the craft. Each issue of the journal features articles, art, fashion, photography, fairy-tale and rebellious women. Contents of the Crone issue include articles on the spiritualist community at Lily Dale, the feminist activists W.I.T.C.H., the women of the Addam's family,  and the Russian witch Baba Yaga. Sabat combines first-class writing with gorgeous photography and design. It is both a resource and an objet d'art in its own right.
