Tarot Nicholas Conver 1760
This is the first authoritative reconstruction of the Conver deck, considered the reference deck of the Marseille family of tarot. Yves Reynaud has worked carefully with exemplars in three collections: The Bibliotheque Nationale de France, the British Museum in England, and the Meeke Memorial Museum in Japan. Wilfried Houdouin contributed the graphic design. This is a fully researched, faithful restoration, printed with high production values, and is a first. It is thus an important work in the history of tarot, and a significant item for the collector.
France: Yves Reynaud, 2017. Limited to 1,500 hand-numbered decks. 78 cards plus two information cards showing limitation and deck number (one in English, one in French). Comes in presentation box, which has a small gold sticker showing deck number. Cards are rigid, cream coloured, and matte-laminated with square corners. New, unused.
