Practical Magic for the Young Urban Witch
Evening Mini-Workshop – Rebecca Beattie
This is an evening for younger Londoners, art students and musicians — indeed, younger folk from all walks of life who are drawn to magic and spirituality. Every month this workshop covers a new set of knowledge and symbols, so as to share basics of a wild, free witchcraft. Experience two hours of witch’s path — inclusive, and grounded in a feminist outlook. Please note it is for people under 30.
The evening starts with a lively illustrated talk which opens up a key topic of witchcraft, welcoming personal contributions from everyone as we go along. Then, in the second half, there is a practical part of the evening, with everyone learning a hands-on magical skill, with all supplies provided. This month’s topic is Solar Magic for Midwinter. No experience is expected – just a sincere interest and a friendly attitude:
All sexualities and gender identities welcome
Quiet folk as well as outgoing folk equally welcome
Workshop time is 6.30 pm to 8.45 pm. Please arrive by 6.20, as late arrivals are disruptive
Maximum sixteen folk per workshop so everyone gets personal attention and we can connect well
