About The Event

Death witch Tree Carr and occultist Julian Vayne talk about death, that profound frontier. They will share elements of their respective magical practices around death, and reflect on the spiritual effect of being intimately involved in the moment of transition. Comparing notes, sharing anecdotes and posing questions, they make a fascinating, even comforting talk, between them. Both are articulate, experienced, charismatic and bright - we promise a rich evening. Q&A with audience is part of the evening. Join us.

Tree Carr is witch who works heavily with dreams, death and divination; professionally, she works as a death doula (a death 'midwife') with a person-centered approach. She is currently studying at the Alef Trust in Psychedelics, Altered States & Transpersonal Psychology, and is also a published author. Julian Vayne is an occultist with over 35 years’ experience and a devotee of Shiva. A regular workshop leader and speaker, he is a contributor to Memento Mori, and he sits on the board of The Journal of Psychedelic Studies. His books, essays and articles are published in both the academic and esoteric press.
