Ancient Necromancy – In-Person Workshop

Humans have worked magically with the dead since time immemorial, handing down tried-and-tested techniques to influence the lives of those still living.

In this in-person practical workshop, Jules introduces ancient ways of working with the dead. They combine their experiences from academic research and magical practice to show students how necromantic spells from Ancient Greece, Rome and Egypt can still be used today.

Students explore:

• Ancient beliefs about the dead and how they could aid the living

• The protocols and techniques required for safely communicating with the dead

• Several examples of ancient spells for working with the dead
