About The Event
Damh the Bard is Britain's much-loved and highly-acclaimed singer songwriter; in addition to his own concerts, he plays at Pagan festivals, conferences and gatherings. Tonight, he reflects on the land, lore and spirits in a reflective conversation with Julian Vayne. They dive into rituals of the seasonal cycle, Â artistic creativity, and ancient legends as food for spirituality, comparing notes and sharing memories. Both are known for their wit and articulate conversation - we promise a rich evening. Q&A with the audience is part of the evening. Join us.Â
Damh the Bard is a modern-day Bard whose spirituality and love of folk tradition is expressed through his music, storytelling and poetry. Drawing on the Bardic tradition, his performances are both entertaining and educational, speaking directly to the heart, and never without a good splash of humour. On the Summer Solstice of 2010 he was installed as the Pendragon of the Order of Bards Ovates and Druids. Julian Vayne is a occultist and Pagan. His approach to magic is earth-centred and neo-shamanic and he's been in ceremony with numerous Druid groups including the Order of Bards Ovates and Druids. Julian promotes an open-source and inclusive approach to spiritual exploration through his workshops, writing and lectures and like Damh has spent quality time hanging out with the Long Man of Wilmington.
