About The Event
Join us as Claire Mitchell KC chats with Christina Oakley Harrington on witch hunts, patriarchy and her involvement in the acclaimed Witches of Scotland initiative.
She and co-campaigner Zoe Venditozzi are launching their book How To Kill A Witch: A Guide for the Patriarchy. Join us for the in-person sofa conversation to unpack her discovery of the Scottish persecution of nearly 4,000 individuals, primarily women, between 1563 and 1736 – and what the initiative is doing about it. Claire is a barrister (KC) so we will be asking her about legal approaches and her particular take on the matter. Complimentary drinks and a party follows, with signed copies of the book available at a discounted price.
