About The Event
Together with the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic, we invite you to an online discussion with occult artist WhiteFeather Hunter, as she talks about working with magic sigils, menstrual blood and stem cells – making art at the intersection between feminist witchcraft and tissue engineering.
Hunter's exhibition 'Arcanum Sanguinis: Occult Blood' is currently at the museum. Her projects 'The Witch in the Lab Coat', 'Bioart Coven' and 'The Pussification Biotech' are among the many which traverse technofeminism, witchcraft, microbiology, performance, media and craft. On this evening, her conversation partner / interviewer is Dr Amy Hale, anthropologist and occult art historian. This is a conversation for artists, taboo-breakers, magical transgressors – everyone who dares the danger at the edges. Join us!
Viewers can join live from anywhere in the world, and/or watch on delayed view. This is a rescheduled date with an adjusted format from the 8th August event.
