About The Event
In this class, participants will learn ways of making herbal and floral charms for themselves and for others, using both fresh and dried ingredients. The class will also give instructions on ways to enchant herbs with breath, touch, written charms and sigils. Hannah will create a herbal posey for friendship and a herbal pouch for bringing forth love.
Please bring: a scrap of fabric, green ribbon/string, rosemary (fresh sprigs), thyme (fresh sprigs), fresh rose/rose petals (pink or red, not yellow or white), chamomile, apple seeds, bay leaves. Optional: marigold, linden, hawthorne, and vervain.
Hannah Sanders is an award-winning folk singer and guitarist, who in her private life has spent almost three decades working in initiatory witchcraft traditions. A former academic with an Anthropology PhD, she has published on teen culture, feminism and magic. Her books include Children of the Green: Raising our Kids in Pagan Traditions.
