Psychogeography: Magic of Place

This workshop is a lively look at the theory and practice of psychogeography, the special ways of moving in the landscape in order to have heightened or even psychic experience. The practice spans across time and culture: from medieval pilgrimage to twentieth-century Situationist derive and detournement. Julian Vayne shares his favourite techniques, which allow one to locate power spots, to meet spirits of place, and to attune to the hidden energies. This is a favourite workshop for finding ways to set oneself 'in place' for self-transformation, results magic, or spiritual illumination.

Julian Vayne is an occultist over 35 years’ experience. His work is informed by chaos magic, and by lineages in Wicca and Tantra. A regular workshop leader and speaker, Julian is also a co-organizer of the psychedelic conference Breaking Convention, and he sits on the board of The Journal of Psychedelic Studies.
