Rune Course

Andre Henriques' four-week intensive online course gives students a deep dive into reading the runes. It focusses on teaching the runes' meanings for divination, magic and internal spiritual work, and to do this Andre gives meditations as well as practical exercises. Every rune has a literal meaning as well as numerous correspondences, coming from sources such as old rune poems and modern practitioners. Everything is geared to assist participants to cement their learning, so by the end of the course everyone can be confident in using the runes in their own practice.

Structure: The first session introduces the runes as a whole in their historical, mythical, and magical contexts. Each following sessions cover a group (aett) of eight runes. Each session is recorded, and the recordings are available to all students for the length of the course.

Andre Henriques is a longstanding and well-loved member of the pagan community, with over 20 years’ experience on the Heathen path. Scholarly study at master's level of modern Heathen practices, and many years of research on Northern tradition's source texts, gives him a combined academic and practitioner's knowledge and insight. He has been active in the UK's Heathen community for over a decade, regularly leading ceremonies, lectures and workshops. He is committed to full inclusivity.
