Scrying Skills – 2-part Workshop

Scrying – gazing into reflective surfaces to perceive visions – is one of humanity’s oldest magical arts.

In this 2-part online workshop, Julian Vayne introduces the history and practice of scrying and guides participants through the altered states that support visionary seeing. The group works with candle flames, mirrors, bowls of ink and modern substitutes, exploring how to open the inner eye and interpret what arises. Participants are invited to prepare a quiet, dimly lit space with a candle and dark reflective surface. Expect an evening of divination, spirit-contact and inner journeying.

For this workshop, please ensure your space can be darkened. You’ll need a candle, something to light it with, and a safe place for it to stand, ideally with a neutral background behind it, as the flame will be used as one of the scrying tools.
