About The Event
This two-part workshop introduces the key elements of sigils, looking at their early appearances in grimoires, then examining how sigil magic evolved into the methods developed by Austin Osman Spare, Pete Carroll and chaos magic. It delves deeply into the role of hypnosis in the modern method of the practice. These two sessions are also practical, leading participants through the essential mechanisms of the sigil: from intent, to inscription, to implantation in the unconscious. By the end of the two evenings participants will be able to create, energise and work with sigils in a variety of ways.Â
NOTE: participants are asked to have their cameras on; if this is an issue, please email us.
Mark Vincent has worked as a professional musician for 25 years and is also a clinical hypnotherapist with over 15 years' experience. He is a longstanding independent chaos magician. He works extensively with the techniques developed for working with subconscious blocks, motivation and core beliefs. Mark runs numerous courses and workshops through Treadwell's, and his sessions sell out quickly.
