About The Event
In 1904, Aleister Crowley received The Book of the Law – a channeled text from the mysterious intelligence Aiwass, heralding the 'Aeon of Horus'.
In this 2-part online workshop, Julian Vayne leads a deep dive into this short, explosive work: its poetry, philosophy and enduring influence. We’ll explore how The Book of the Law fits within Crowley’s wider magical system, how its radical ideas resonate in the 21st century, and how it relates to other inspired texts in the wider social and political landscape. Participants also take part in simple ritual practices inspired by Thelema’s philosophy and symbolism. Suitable for both practitioners and those curious about this deeply influential figure.
2-part workshop – runs 8 and 15 April, 7-9pm, on Zoom.
