About The Event
Psychogeography is the art of conscious wandering – discovering hidden currents of meaning in the landscapes we inhabit.
In this online workshop, Julian Vayne shares practical methods for engaging with place in magical and imaginative ways. Participants explore techniques for locating power spots, meeting spirits of place and cultivating heightened states of awareness through movement, whether in wild settings or familiar urban streets. Expect an evening that blends poetry, anthropology and magic, offering tools to reveal the enchantment woven into every day life.
Julian Vayne is an occultist with over 40 years' experience. A regular speaker at events, and facilitator of retreats and workshops, his work is informed by chaos magic, the Western Mystery Tradition, Wicca and eastern mysticism. He is a co-organiser of the psychedelic conference Breaking Convention, a founding member of the post-prohibition think-tank Transform, and sits on the academic board of The Journal of Psychedelic Studies.
