About The Event
The Fool is the holy trickster, the zero of the tarot – dancing on the edge of the abyss with a grin and a feather in his cap.
In this lively online talk, Julian Vayne traces the lineage of sacred foolishness from the medieval court jester to the cosmic pranksters of modern chaos magic. Drawing upon the 'crazy wisdom' of Discordianism, the holy mischief of the Lakota Heyókȟa, and trickster figures such as Loki, Anansi, and Exu, he explores how paradox, humour, and linguistic play can serve as catalysts for illumination. Expect an evening of wit and insight, in which the Fool emerges as both initiator and liberator – reminding the seeker that the most profound truths sometimes arrive wearing a motley coat.
Julian Vayne is an occultist with over 40 years' experience. A regular speaker at events, and facilitator of retreats and workshops, his work is informed by chaos magic,…
