The Witch’s Flight – In-Person Workshop

Witches have long been said to fly, travelling beyond the body into other realms.

In this in-person workshop, Fio Gede Parma explores the witch’s fetch – the spirit-double said to travel beyond the body. Drawing on historical accounts, including the confessions of Isobel Gowdie, alongside contemporary practice, participants are introduced to traditions of spirit flight. Through breath, voice, movement and stillness, the session offers techniques for sending out the fetch, navigating thresholds and returning. Participants also explore the role of spirit allies and boundary guardians. By the end, participants will have a grounded framework for approaching spirit-flight work.
