About The Event
Across folklore traditions, doorways, crossroads, boundary markers and hilltops are recognised as places of potent magical power – existing between two states of being.
In this online workshop, Hannah Sanders explores these liminal places in both landscape and experience. Drawing on traditional practices, she introduces the old magics of attending to thresholds to work through moments of transition. Participants are guided in creating a personalised ceremony to mark and cross such thresholds with clarity and care, aiding them to navigate important life changes.
Hannah Sanders lives in rural Cambridgeshire and has been practising British folk and herbal magic for many decades. Professionally, she is a folk musician and singer. She also has a doctorate in anthropology with a focus on modern paganism.
