Lucya Starza

Lucya Starza is a London-based witch, author and teacher whose decades of practice inform her practical and highly accessible approach to magic. Known for her focus on traditional spellcraft and hands-on learning, she helps students develop confidence through direct experience and practice.

Alongside her teaching, Lucya is the author of several books, including Candle Magic, Poppets and Magical Dolls, Scrying for Beginners and the gothic novel Erosion, all of which are available at Treadwell's. She is also the creator of the long-running Bad Witch's Blog, a highly valued resource for news, reviews and events within the pagan and occult community.

At Treadwell's, Lucya teaches weekend workshops exploring subjects such as scrying, protection spells and traditional English magical practices. Her classes are known for their friendly, hands-on atmosphere, with students learning new techniques and creating magical tools and objects of their own.
