7 Essential Plants for Protection – Workshop

This event is part of Essential Magical Plants, a series of four plant magic workshops with Hannah Sanders. Each workshop stands alone, and together they offer a practical exploration of working magically with herbs, plants and trees.

In this online workshop, Hannah Sanders introduces the practice of using plants for protective magic. Drawing on folklore and cunning folk tradition, she explores how to identify, prepare and build grounded relationships with 7 powerful plant allies: Rue, Rowan, Ivy, Holly, Wormwood, Periwinkle and Hemlock. She also shares how to use them in charms, washes, oils and incense to strengthen personal boundaries and safeguard home and space. By the end of the workshop, everyone will have the confidence to begin weaving simple protective workings using some of the most trusted plants in the British Isles.
