7 Essential Trees for Magic – Workshop

This event is part of Essential Magical Plants, a series of four plant magic workshops with Hannah Sanders. Each workshop stands alone, and together they offer a practical exploration of working magically with herbs, plants and trees.

In this online workshop, Hannah Sanders introduces the practice of working magically with trees. Drawing on folklore and cunning folk tradition, she explores how to recognise, approach and build grounded relationships with 7 powerful tree allies: Hazel, Oak, Ash, Hawthorn, Elder, Apple and Pine. She also shares how to make offerings, work with the distinct qualities of each tree, and craft simple tools such as wands and divining rods for magical use. By the end of the workshop, everyone will have the confidence to build meaningful magical relationships with tree allies in the local landscape.
