Ancestors in Magic - Workshop

People often say that working with the ancestors is central to western magical practice, but what does that actually mean? And what happens if you don't know who your familial ancestors are? This workshop examines the practicalities of magical work with the ancestors, and takes a compassionate view of how students can identify who those ancestors are. The workshop also teaches practical, hands-on methods for honouring them and working with them, methods which can include artworking, altars, pilgrimages and meditation. 

Rebecca Beattie brings almost two decades of experience of practical magic. she is a Wiccan priestess who apprenticed in her tradition over 15 years ago. Warmly regarded for her highly-informed approach combined with a warm, inclusive style, she brings much lived experience to her teaching.  A writer and scholar, she has a doctorate in Creative Writing and has a professional life in the charity sector.
