About The Event
Magical herbs, flowers and trees grow in the midst of London, and this walk will open up a world of plant witchcraft. This guided plant walk around the leafy squares of Bloomsbury will bring this world alive. Tony Wileman works professionally as a Senior Ecologist and has over 25 years of combining scientific understanding of the natural world with his spiritual pagan path as a Wiccan. Â He considers himself a guardian, custodian, voice and teacher for nature. He will concentrate on identifying magical herbs, teaching you the key features to look for. Â He will also talk about the plants' folklore, use in remedies, and inclusion in charms and spells. Attendees will go home with the ability to find and use magical plants which grow in and around their own neighborhoods. Â Â Â Â
Walk meets at Treadwell's. It runs from 1.30pm to approximately 3.30 or 4 pm, and involves considerable walking.Â
Walk will proceed rain or shine. In case of extreme weather conditions, however, we will contact all participants 24 ahead of start time.
