About The Event

At the heart of all magical and spiritual traditions there is an inner journey to the wiser, truer self.  Jung's understanding of the spiritual quest was drawn from his immersion in the world’s spiritual and esoteric traditions. Vivianne Crowley introduces this aspect of Carl Jung’s work and the map he provided for the inner voyage. One of the world’s best-known psychologists, Jung has been an important one for many in the 20th and 21st centuries; his writings on archetypes, the collective unconscious, dreams, synchronicity and spiritual alchemy are major influences. This is the first in Vivianne Crowley's lecture series on Jung and his close collaborators.

Dr Vivianne Crowley PhD is an internationally renowned Wiccan high priestess and a bestselling author. She is a psychologist and lectures on the psychology of religion and on contemporary Pagan and magical traditions at universities and events worldwide. She is the author of numerous books on Wicca, Paganism and natural magic -- and two on Jung – Carl Jung: A Journey of Transformation (Quest), and Jungian Spirituality (HarperCollins). With her husband Chris, she runs experiential spiritual psychology weekends drawing on Jung's work.
