About The Event
The visionary and divinatory side of magic is often linked to work with flowers and herbs in the old folkways. This workshop shows just how: Hannah Sanders shares the ways in which certain herbs and plants are used in dowsing, trance techniques, scrying and charming. It’s a great workshop for the start of the summer season. Each attendee will make and use a flower pendulum and a scrying wash, and will be fully equipped to go further on their own at home.
To join in, bring: bay, anise, garlic, mugwort, loose tea. Optional: chamomile, galangal
Hannah Sanders is an award-winning folk singer and guitarist, who in her private life has spent almost three decades working in initiatory witchcraft traditions. A former academic with an Anthropology PhD, she has published on teen culture, feminism and magic. Her books include Children of the Green: Raising our Kids in Pagan Traditions.Â
