Erotic Witchcraft's Legacy and Practice - Lecture

Gabriela Herstik, an inclusive experimental sex magician working in California, gives this lecture on the evolution and components of sex magic today. She focusses on sex magic in the age of Instagram, the internet, and the true sexual revolution, particularly women’s voices and ideas in this space. The lecture addresses sex work, gender expression, lineages of magic, and the crafting of personalised erotic withcraft experiences. Having introduced the strands, East and West, which have shaped sexual magic today, she examines energy work, sacred sexuality, ritual, devotion and altered states. It is, she shows, a path aimed at reaching gnosis through the body.

       Gabriela Herstik is an American practitioner who works magically at the intersection of the esoteric and erotic. A devotee of the Goddess of Love and Lust, she is co-founder of Kink Coven, a monthly full moon ritual play party dedicated to the protection and celebration of sex workers. She leads the monthly Sex Magick Discussion Circle on Zoom. She is author of three books.
