About The Event
Cunning craft or folk magic has always employed sacred yet domestic objects in the creation of small works of magic. In the first of this series of 5 classes discover the traditional use of eggs in works of blessings, divination and protection. From painted eggs for fertility, broken eggs for weather magic and buried eggs for curses, explore the potency of burgeoning life with Treadwell’s very own folk witch Hannah Sanders.
Hannah Sanders has a doctorate in anthropology and is a longstanding practitioner of folk and herb magic. She was the last apprentice of writer and tarot reader Joyce Collin-Smith, and she is the granddaughter of a well-known Irish fortune teller. Professionally, she is a traditional folk singer.
