About The Event

Join us for a conversation streching through time and myth back to one of the most famous events in witchcraft history. Tales have been told of a great ritual performed by a coven of witches in the New Forest during the darkest days of WW2. The two authors will be chatting with our own Christina about inspiration, history and magic. This event will be of particular interest to those interested in the evolution of Wicca, it's histories and it's myths. At the end their will be time for an audience Q&A

Philip Heselton is best known in the Witchcraft world for his excellent books exploring early Wicca, in particular it's founder, Gerald Gardner.

Moira Hodgkinson is a prolific author who blends a wonderful sense of realism with the magical. Her works have centred around horror, paranormal and urban fantasy and pagan oriented fiction.

Christina Oakley Harrington is the founder-director of Treadwells of London. She has been involved with the pagan communities in the UK and US since the 1980s; she is both a priestess in the Gardnerian Craft and a historical researcher in the field.
