About The Event
The tradition of herb magic is a long one: most European plants have lore which informs us what they are 'good for': good luck, fame, love, and justice are but a few. This packed in-person half-day teaches the traditional correspondences, planetary attributions, and even some old spells collected in the Victorian era. The practical part of the class consists in working with the herbs hands-on; each person will apply two of the methods taught.
The Treadwell's library of ingredients and supplies are open to participants for this workshop, who get to keep everything they make.
Dr Rebecca Beattie has spent more than twenty years studying and practicing witchcraft and Wicca, and has a deep understanding of the traditions underpinning the practices. A published author, her books include Nature Mystics: The Literary Gateway to Modern Paganism and Wheel of the Year: A Nurturing Guide. Site: https://www.rebeccabeattie.co.uk/
