Hands on with Cunning Grimoire Magic
Rob Rider Hill is an eclectic magician living in East London and he takes us on a journey into Grimoire magic with The Olympic Spirits
Time & Location
14 Oct 2023, 13:00 – 15:10
London, 33 Store St, London WC1E 7BS, UK
About The Event
Straight from the burned-fingers school of magic, this workshop prioritises practice over purism.
Beginning with an introduction to the Grimoires and planetary magic, and a discussion of the practical elements of grimoire ritual, the main focus of the workshop will be on the skills necessary to get things working, some shortcuts, and a streamlined grimoire-style evocation process for initiating relationships with the famous Olympic Spirits, rulers of the elementals and directions.
You’ll leave with some practical experience, some freshly made and consecrated tools, and a simple method by which to approach your ongoing planetary magic. We shall cover:
- A grimoire-derived ritual process
- Basic tools (the book, incense/fire, water, the circle, the knife & wand, the table of practice, the lamen, icons, offerings)
- The Almadel tradition
- Associated grimoires
- The Olympic Spirits
- A quick and dirty Olympic ritual
- Planetary image magic
Rob Rider Hill is an eclectic magician living in East London with a background in lodge magic, chaos magic, and several years of practice with a variety of grimoires. After completing the Abramelin retirement in 2018 his focused switched to deconstruction and reconstruction of the processes within various Keys of Solomon and the Grimorium Verum, very much following the work of others in this now vibrant area of ritual magic.
