Herb Magic for Fertility - Workshop

The beginning of February, the Celtic festival of Imbolc, is the time to begin thinking about fertility, as the spring pokes up its early shoots with the seasonal snowdrops. With Candlemas candles, too, fertility is a theme in the folklore. Herb magic for fertility is the theme of Hannah Sanders' workshop tonight. She introduces the plant allies and the herb spirits who bring the gifts of new generation and growth, and invite a new engagement with Nature. The class consider goals for fertility in whatever way it applies to you, and Hannah will show herbal elixirs, enchantments and trance practice to tie it all together. Join us! 

Hannah Sanders is a longstanding practitioner of folk and herb magic, was the last apprentice of writer and tarot reader Joyce Collin-Smith, and is the granddaughter of a well-known Irish fortune teller. She holds a doctorate in anthropology and has taught at universities. Professionally, she is an acclaimed traditional folk singer.
