Knot Magic – Workshop

Knot spells are an effective and evocative form of folk magic, used for centuries for an array of purposes.

In this online workshop, cunning woman Hannah Sanders teaches students how to create powerful knot magic. The group learns about the many folkloric uses of cords, ribbons and threads, exploring charms to invite positive influence and avert the negative. As part of this, students delve into the importance of length, colour and the practical art of knotting. Hannah also outlines how to empower the spells through incantations while doing so. These methods are ideal for binding, drawing and sealing intention.

Please bring: a notepad, pen and (if you wish), a length of ribbon in a colour of your choice.
