About The Event
In old witchcraft practice, pentacles were made of wax (in order to be melted down quickly if the need for secrecy arose).
In this online workshop, cunning woman Hannah Sanders teaches students how to craft a traditional wax pentacle. The group learns about its history in witchcraft, exploring its use as a tool of earth, dish of consecration and altar in miniature. Students also delve into its significance for blessing and bearing important magical symbols. This is the ideal class to learn a classic magical craft which is now experiencing a renewed popularity. Suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners. By the end of the workshop, everyone will understand how to create a personalised seal or paten using soy or beeswax.
