About The Event
May is one of the most merry and mischievous seasons in British folklore – yet it also carries its own dangerous and uncanny edge.
In this in-person event, the creators of The Three Ravens Podcast take their place on the Treadwell’s sofa to share a selection of colourful Maytide tales. At the forefront of the modern folklore revival, Martin Vaux and Eleanor Conlon are dedicated to bringing to light the country’s spirits, heroes, playful customs and strange encounters. Expect stories shaped by May’s brightness and enchantment, enriched with insights and anecdotes from their popular podcast. Afterwards, everyone is invited upstairs for a shop-floor soirée with complimentary wine. Martin and Eleanor will also be signing copies of their book, Three Ravens Folk Tales.
