About The Event

Irish, Welsh, Scottish, Manx, Cornish -- Celtic regions leave traces of their goddesses in the stories and lore of their lands. Meet the Morrigan, the great queen bloody with battle; Cerridwen, the keeper of the cauldron of inspiration; and Brigid, patron of healing, metalworking and poets. Rebecca Beattie's 'Meeting the Gods' workshops teach how to start working with specific deities, and what to expect when they show up in your life.  There is an illustrated presentation, followed by a guided meditation and, finally, a discussion on suitable rituals and appropriate offerings.

Rebecca Beattie is appreciated for her highly-informed approach, which she combines with a warm, inclusive style. She is a Wiccan priestess who apprenticed in her tradition over 15 years, and thus brings much lived experience to her teaching. A published author, her titles are Nature Mystics, Somewhere She is There, The Lychway, and many articles. She has a doctorate in Creative Writing (Middlesex), specialising in the modernist mystic Mary Webb. Her website: https://www.rebeccabeattie.co.uk/
